It’s cold!! We had our first frost Saturday night, and a very intense frost of 21 degrees last night. We’ve been running around putting row cover down. The extreme low is cold enough to destroy even some of the more frost tolerant crops like lettuce, cilantro, fennel, and celeriac, so we have covered as much as we can and are keeping our fingers crossed.
This is our second to last week of the season. The final distribution day is October 31st (we will indeed be open for Halloween). We do still have winter storage shares available.
We sent you an email earlier with important details about renewals. Please make sure to read that one so that you know about your options for next season.
And… we are hoping to see you this afternoon at our end of season party! We will start off with pumpkin carving and other fun and then stay warm with apple cider by the fire.
