News from the farm…
Time to sign up for fall bulk shares (and 2021 summer shares too)!
Fall is here and the changing weather is finally starting to show itself. Even amidst all the bounty of autumn, here on the farm we’re starting to think about winter. For those of you who want to eat farm-fresh veggies through the coming darker months, we are again offering a fall bulk storage share.
Our bulk shares are limited, by pre-order only, now through October 24th or once we sell out which is likely to be sooner. For more details or to sign-up, click on this link to our fall bulk share sign-up form.
Our fall bulk share is an excellent value. For $145 you get 90+ pounds of vegetables. Carrots, potatoes, butternut, onions, garlic, kale, broccoli, leeks, parsnips, cabbage, and so much more! We’ll guide you in how to store these vegetables easily and well into the winter on your counter, cabinet, freezer, and whichever cold storage you have available, like mudroom, basement, garage, or refrigerator. The one-time pick-up will take place on the same day as our final share: Saturday, October 31st, between 9am and 3pm at the farm. We’ll have sign-up forms available at the farm or you can click on the link above to print, fill-out, and send in with your payment.
Aaand… we are also opening up sign-ups for the 2021 season beginning this week. There will be forms available at the farm so bring your check book with you to this weeks share or you can click on this link to print, fill-out, and send in your 2021 sign-up form. We do expect to sell out rather quickly, as we did this past spring, due to increased sales related to the pandemic, so get your $50 deposit in soon to reserve your spot for next season.
There are still three more regular share weeks, including this one, before the end of the 2020 season. Hope you enjoy the fall abundance and thank you again and always for your ongoing support, especially during this challenging year. May you and yours be safe, healthy, nourished, and well!
